Certified Jewelry Appraisals
For all types of jewelry
Muradov Jewelry Appraisals, is fully certified, which means our assessments meet or exceed requirements for insurance appraisal.
A jewelry appraisal is a document provided by a certified gemologist which identifies the jewelry including metal testing, gem stone testing and grading as well as accurate evaluation using the latest equipment and price guides.
The certificate comes with a digital photograph and has a value attached to the piece being appraised. The most common types of appraisals are for insurance or customs purposes but may be used for other applications such as: estates, divorce, buying and/or selling, etc. The most common types of jewelry brought in to be appraised are: engagement rings and wedding bands, chains, pendants, earrings, and bracelets.

Michael Muradov is among the few appraisers in Western Canada certified by the Gemological Institute of America with a Certificate in Insurance Replacement Appraisal. He also is a graduate of George Brown with a Gemology Diploma as well as a fellow of the Canadian Gemological Association. With over 20 years of experience, he is well-known throughout the industry, and versatile to appraise all types of jewellery.
